Middle school Science students recently dissected deer hearts. Students brought in hearts from hunting weekends to use for a heart dissection lab. They found the 2 atrium's, 2 ventricles, tendons or "heart strings", valves, the aorta, blood clots and some bullet fragments. Here are some pictures of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students dissecting!
