Reorganization of the School Board
April 24, 2008
After the Board election this April, new members will take their seat on the R-1 Board of Education. Mr. Russell Niehoff and Mr. Charles Lewis were elected to the board for the first time and Neal Sands was elected for a second term as a write in candidate. Elected as President was Mr. Jeff Nentrup. Vice President is Kim McGuire. Secretary/Treasurer is Kirk Neill. Larry Coose is also an incumbent Board Member. We give a huge amount of thanks to Lois Parker and Kevin White, outgoing board members who gave a lot of their time and energy to the post. We will always appreciate what good members they were. We look forward to the new board and for the challenges they continue to face with education in this decade. We are pleased to work together for the children of this district.
