CSIP Finalized and Approved
April 25, 2008
The Lockwood R-1 School District has finished the CSIP Plan for 2008. CSIP stands for Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. The first CSIP Plan for the Lockwood District was drafted in 1998. Every 5 years, the district must update and review the CSIP Plan.
During each review session, a committee of staff members will go through the old CSIP and check off the goals that have been achieved. Then the group meets again to establish new goals after reviewing current testing data. Action steps and strategies to achieve those goals follow the four main goals of the district. The Board of Education and CSIP committee reviewed the new draft. The Board of Education adopted the completed CSIP on April 21, 2008.
There is a link that will take you to the District’s CSIP Plan so that you may see the upcoming goals and strategies for the next 5 years. Anyone having questions about these goals is more than welcome to e-mail me at brogers@lockwood.k12.mo.us or call the office at 232-4513.
