Board of Education

Board of Education Appreciation

Missourians benefit everyday from the dedicated energies and countless hours devoted by a group of more than 3,600 men and women in every community across the state.  These public servants are elected by local constituents and do not receive compensation for their tireless efforts.  These men and women are the local board members of Missouri.

During the week of January 24-30, communities across the state will honor the dedicated service of local boards of education during School Board Recognition Week.  The Lockwood School District would like to honor their 7 members:  Jeff Nentrup, Board President; Larry Coose, Vice-President; Kirk Neil, Secretary; and members Russell Niehoff, Charles Lewis, Willie Stefan, and Pamela Allen.

We thank our board for their tireless efforts for our staff and students.  Without them the direction, vision and focus of our district is not possible.  They are unselfish members of our community giving freely of their time and energy for the betterment of our children.  Hats off to the Lockwood Board of Education and if you see a member tell them how much you appreciate all their efforts.
