John Tubaugh Scholarship

The John Tubaugh Scholarship is a new scholarship that will be available in the near future to the Dade County Schools of Greenfield, Lockwood, Everton and Dadeville.  An auction of the late Mr. Tubaugh’s property will be held on September 3 and 4, 2010.  Proceeds from this sale and what has already been endowed with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be used to fund the scholarships for these four school districts.  The division of these funds between the district is yet to be determined and details for the scholarships will be published at a later time.  Larry Gordon, the cousin of the late Mr. Tubaugh,  has asked the district to publish that any donations of other items that may  be auctioned will be accepted by the estate with 90% of any amount the item donated brings donated to the scholarship fund.  If you are interested in making a donation to this sale and scholarship fund with cash or items for auction, please contact Mr. Gordon at 816-718-7714 or by e-mail lgordon3333@yahoo.com.  Arrangements can be made with Mr. Gordon on logistics for items that will be donated or cash contributions.
