Thanks to a $10,000 Grant from Monsanto and the Farmers Grow Rural America Program, our science students at Lockwood High School are enjoying using chromebooks in the classroom. The chromebooks for every student help Mr. Larry Stuart implement a standards based, self-paced learning program for his classes. They are used in all science areas in the high school and by all students in his classes. Mr. Stuart did a great job of writing the grant and Mrs. Bruner did a great job of getting the chromebooks ordered and in the classroom in speedy fashion.

Student assignments will go back and forth between teacher and students for feedback. The students will be able access resources and videos on the chromebooks for students who are working ahead and for the struggling student for remediation.

Thanks again to Monsanto and to Mr. Stuart and Mrs. Bruner for all their hard work.
