Our Conference Math Meet resulted in Dexter Whitesell receiving a 3rd place medal in the individual algebra field; additionally, Damoni Hill, Brookelynn Dotson, and Farrah Rockwood all received a 3rd place medal in the geometry team field.

HS Softball & Baseball games kick off this week with the Purdy & Joplin Area Tournaments.
*HS SB Joplin Area Tournament will be held at Fair Acres Sports Complex- Carthage. There will be a concession stand and a Tropical Snow food truck. All of the proceeds from the Tropical Snow Truck will be donated to Solace House in memory of long-time umpire Robert "Bob" Shellenbarger. Coach V and I have also decided to donate all of the proceeds from the t-shirts in his honor.

Congrats to LHS Senior Owen Patterson. Owen recently participated in the Iron Eagle Welding competition, placing 5th out of 89 competitors and earning a $1000 scholarship. Way to go, Owen!

We want to thank elementary secretary, Heather Rusch, as she moves on to a new adventure. Her last day will be Thursday, March 5. We want to thank her for her years of dedication, kindness, and hard work. She has been a steady presence, a friendly face, and a true blessing to our school community. We wish her all the best in her next adventure.
We want to welcome Rachel Lewandowski as the new secretary. Rachel has worked in the district as a cheer coach, bus driver, substitute, and paraprofessional.
