Our staff had a great day back yesterday! A big thanks to the Methodist Church and Thrivent for the annual lunch. We are looking forward to a great year!
Don't forget that Elementary Open House will be held Monday, August 30 from 4-6 pm.
Grades 7-12 please plan to attend the back to school meeting in the high school gym on Monday, August 30 at 6:30. We will be discussing a variety of topics and students will be able to see classrooms as well as meet their teachers.

Don’t forget enrollment for grades 7-12 is today! Bring your packet to the high school library from now until 3pm.
Congratulations to the Lockwood FFA members who worked on the Chapter Display. After judging it earned a GOLD Ribbon at the State Fair! If you attend stop by the FFA Building and check it and all other FFA projects out.
Don't miss the Kick-Off Classic tonight at 6 in the high school parking lot! There will be free food and drinks. Come out and meet our fall athletes!

Key Points
1. Masks are not required during the school day but due to a federal mandate on public transportation they are required on the school bus.
2. School will start on September 1 at 8:00 am.
3. Please make sure to fill out the free and reduced lunch forms. Even though the breakfast and lunches are free for this year, we still must enter a students status on our reports. So please be sure to fill out the forms and return them to the school like normal.

Just a reminder that JH/HS football practice will be today at 3:30.

HS/MS football practice will be next week 3:30-5:30. Middle school kids, if you don’t already have a physical on file with the school you will need to bring a copy of your physical.
JH Volleyball practice will start next Monday, August 16, from 8:00-9:30am at the Elementary School. Anyone who doesn't have a current physical will need to bring a copy to the first practice.
