Reminder: Our Veterans' Day program will be tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th at 10:30 AM in the high school gymnasium. The program will honor all American Veterans and their families.

FCCLA will be serving refreshments for veterans and their families prior to the program at 9:45 AM in the high school cafeteria.

We took a trip back in time to the Civil War in 5th grade. The day began in a one-room schoolhouse where we learned reading, writing, and arithmetic! Then we took a tour of Red Oak II and the Battle of Carthage Museum. We’re glad to be back to electricity and indoor plumbing!

HSFB District Semifinal vs Greenfield- Kickoff at 7 pm

As this is the first MSHSAA post-season football game, all tickets are $6 and no passes are accepted.

Saturday, November 8th Schedule:

9:00 Lockwood (home/white) vs Miller (away/dark)
10:15 Miller (home/white) vs Ash Grove (away/dark)
11:30 Lockwood (home/white) vs Ash Grove (away/dark)

*All games will be played in the elementary gym. Due to limited seating fans/teams are welcome to sit in the cafeteria when they aren't playing. Limited concessions will be available.

Mr. Robertson is the Arvest Bank- "We LoveTeachers" campaign winner at Lockwood High School. He received a $500 check from Arvest Bank to spend on his shop & classroom. Thank you, Arvest for your continued support and congratulations, Mr. Robertson!

The students and faculty of the Lockwood R-I District request the honor of our local veterans' presence at our Veterans Day Program. The program will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM in the high school gymnasium. The program will honor all American Veterans and their families.

The Lockwood FCCLA will be serving refreshments for veterans and their families prior to the program at 9:45 AM in the high school cafeteria. This is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with other area veterans as well as the Lockwood students and faculty.

Due to sidewalk construction, the elementary students will walk from the elementary up 5th Street (by the Methodist Church) and cross Main Street in front of the Funeral Home. The rest of the route will stay the same with us turning around at Casey's and returning on the East side of Main Street. We will not be going to the 4 way this year as we have in years past due to the construction.
