
If any elementary or middle school students have not been able to get in and pick up their items and don't have an appointment scheduled, they can come in on Thursday, May 14 from 9 am-3 pm and Friday, May 15 from 11 am-3 pm.

Don’t forget today 8th graders and juniors can pick up their personal belongings and turn any school items in. This will take place from 9 am to 2 pm.

Kindergarten screenings will be held Friday, Aug. 14. You will still keep the time that you had previously scheduled. If you have any questions, please call the elementary office between 9 am-3 pm Tuesday-Friday through May 22.

Don’t forget that today is the day for 6th graders and freshmen to pick up any personal belongings from the school and turn in school items! You can do this anytime from 9 am to 2 pm!

The Lockwood schools fitness room will be closed to community use through the month of May. Due to state and county recommendations, we will only open the facility for our student athletes during the month of May or until recommendations from health officials changes.

Academic packets must be turned in by Monday, May 11. Also, leftover ice cream from the cafeteria will be handed out in lunches on Monday and Tuesday so kids come get meals on Monday and Tuesday next week!

The following is a message from Kelly Heiskell at the Lamar Career and Technical Center:
Next week we will be allowing students to come to LCTC to pick up their belongings. We will also be asking them to return textbooks and other materials that belong to LCTC. Any unreturned books or items will result in billing to the student. Our pick up times will be as follows:
Tuesday 5/5: Noon-4pm
Wednesday 5/6: 8am-Noon
Students enrolled in Automotive, Welding, Machine Tool, or Carpentry should report to the outside shop bay door of their current program to collect their things. If students are enrolled in Graphic Design or Health Occupations they should report to the front entrance. Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
Instructors in Graphic Design and Health Occupations will be contacting students about completing certification tests. Automotive ASE testing will be conducted at LCTC on Wednesday, May 13th beginning at 10 am. These are the only programs still needing to complete certification assessments this academic year.

Greenhouse hours!


If you are finished with any library book you have checked out through the school, you can return it when you come to pick up your packet on Friday! If you have any questions about checked out books please contact rcossins@tigersk12.org.

Lockwood R-1 is currently seeking a special education para for the 2020/2021 school year. Interested applicants should call the school (232-4513) or email Mr. Lasater (clasater@tigersk12.org).
