Congratulations to Asa Lasater for making the Class 1 All-State Volleyball Team!

DCC Bracket Update:

You butter believe it!! Upper elementary had fun shaking their groove things to some Christmas classics while shaking their heavy whipping cream to make butter - which they figured out was a physical change! We also learned about dairy cows and farms to know where all our yummy milk products come from.

Before Thanksgiving break, the second graders had fun learning through turkey projects.

Great way to shop for Christmas gifts!

FBLA in collaboration with the Lockwood Food Pantry is organizing a HS food drive for the next 12 days. Each class is challenged with getting the most students involved by bringing in the item designated (and number) each day!
We encourage community members to also join in the challenge! You can bring in the items to the HS and support any class of your choice.

Boys Dennis Cornish Classic & Girls Gem City Classic are this week:

1st Grade had fun learning about turkeys this month!

Yesterday, Kindergarten talked about everything they are thankful for. We made
"Thankful turkeys" to share the things we are thankful for.

Thank you to PTO for the delicious soup, chili, and desserts for the teacher/staff lunch today!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Attention Seniors! We will hold a FAFSA night on Monday, December 9th, at 6:30 in the High School library. Students and parents are invited to attend to hear about some financial aid information and walk through the steps of completing the FAFSA.
More information will follow. Please check your emails and social media.

What better way to kick off Thanksgiving than with an Ag Lab FriYAY Pie Day! Students in 4th-6th grades learned about pumpkins, apples, or cherries - including the life cycle of the crop, harvest, production, and marketing. Then to top it off, we made “pie in a bag!” Agriculture sure is yummy! (Well, some students still weren’t sold on the pumpkin.)
