The students and faculty of the Lockwood R-I District request the honor of your presence at our Veterans Day Program. The program will be held Monday, November 11, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. The program will honor all American Veterans and their families.
The Lockwood FCCLA will be serving refreshments for veterans and their families prior to the program at 9:45 a.m. in the high school cafeteria. This is a wonderful opportunity to fellowship with other area veterans as well as the Lockwood students and faculty.
FBLA collected 100 pairs of socks for Socktober! These new socks were donated to the Dade County Christian Center.

Trick or Treating down Main Street has been moved to the elementary gym on Thursday because of weather. Businesses will be passing out candy at 1:15 followed by Halloween parties.

First graders are learning about friendship and how to be a good friend!
The following is a list of items that students who signed up for Saturday's ACT need to remember to bring.
-A printed copy of your ticket
-An acceptable photo identification or you will not be admitted to test (Make sure the first and last names on your ticket and photo ID match)
-Sharpened, soft lead No. 2 pencils with good erasers (no mechanical pencils or ink pens)
-A permitted calculator for the mathematics test only. (It is your responsibility to know whether your calculator is permitted.)
*Log in to your ACT Web Account if you need to print your ticket. Make sure the printed copy of your ticket includes your photo.
*Test Date is October 26, 2019
*Please try to arrive by at least 7:45
