Congratulations, Seth!
Every year Mrs. Roschevitz's Creative Writing class turns in entries to the Crowder Quill, a literary and art magazine of Crowder College. Seth Williams wrote a fictional short story that was chosen to be published in this year's Quill.
Crowder College will host the annual awards ceremony with a campus- and community-wide poetry reading. The event will take place Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m. in Elsie Plaster Community Center on the campus of Crowder College in Neosho.

The Lockwood R1 school district is going to have an estimated NO TAX increase bond issue placed on the ballot next Tuesday, April 3. The following list is a priority list of projects that we would like to get done as money will permit:
-Roofing at elementary
-Roofing at high school
-Replace heat pumps at elementary
-Replace HVAC in elementary cafeteria
-Replace HVAC in elementary gym
-Replace worn out carpeting in elementary
-Replace worn out carpeting in high school
-Fix leaks in fitness room
-Replace flooring in fitness room
-Refinance old lease

Kindergarten screening will be April 30. Please call the elementary office at 232-4528 to reserve a spot. Please bring your child's birth certificate, social security card, immunization records, and proof of residency. Screening should take roughly an hour.

The middle school teachers presented their class ideas for Hometown Pride this week. The students will put in applications to apply for the class of their choice!
