Great job to the following students who placed in the Dade County Soil and Water poster contest! They were able to attend the meeting and have their poster displayed: Abryana Watson, Owen Patterson, Callie Whaley, and Tahya Woods.

The High School will begin End of Course Exam testing on Monday, April 24th, 2017. We will be testing in the areas of Algebra I, English II, Biology, and American Government. Test sessions will begin in the morning and continue through the afternoon. Please make sure your student has a good night sleep and is in attendance during the testing sessions.
Again this year, the state of Missouri will be giving all juniors the ACT. This statewide ACT administration will be on April 19th. Lockwood High School juniors will take this ACT on this date at our school beginning in the morning.

Good luck to the track team as they travel to Stockton today and softball as they play Spokane! Also, congrats to the Pickleball Doubles Champs!

Owen Neely, a sixth grader at Lockwood Middle School, represented the Lockwood School district at the Joplin regional spelling bee on March 20! There were 77 contestants at the spelling bee. Owen did an outstanding job representing our school district! The district's runner up Finley Masterson and spelling bee coordinator Rebecca Cossins, along with Owen's parents Jeremy Neely and Angie Whitesell were in attendance to cheer him on.
