ALL SENIORS & THEIR FAMILIES--We are holding a FAFSA Night Monday 12/9/24 in the High School Library starting at 6:30. Representatives from OTC will be there to discuss some general financial aid information as well as be there to walk you through filling out the FAFSA form. The information will not be specific to OTC, but general information for anyone considering education beyond high school. The FAFSA is the primary way to access federal financial aid like grants, work-study, and loans for college, and many states and colleges also use your FAFSA information to determine eligibility for their own financial aid packages, potentially allowing you to receive significant financial assistance towards your education; completing the FAFSA is free and can be beneficial even if you think you might not qualify for much aid. Please let Mrs. Eggerman know if you have any questions! See more details on what you need here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1faXdOPTm3LcGgMj1jGqnwiHUXEIdVb6Bw26fSOZ-ccc/edit?usp=sharing

You butter believe it!! Upper elementary had fun shaking their groove things to some Christmas classics while shaking their heavy whipping cream to make butter - which they figured out was a physical change! We also learned about dairy cows and farms to know where all our yummy milk products come from.

FBLA in collaboration with the Lockwood Food Pantry is organizing a HS food drive for the next 12 days. Each class is challenged with getting the most students involved by bringing in the item designated (and number) each day! We encourage community members to also join in the challenge! You can bring in the items to the HS and support any class of your choice.

What better way to kick off Thanksgiving than with an Ag Lab FriYAY Pie Day! Students in 4th-6th grades learned about pumpkins, apples, or cherries - including the life cycle of the crop, harvest, production, and marketing. Then to top it off, we made “pie in a bag!” Agriculture sure is yummy! (Well, some students still weren’t sold on the pumpkin.)
