Last week, we had masked readers come and read to our kids. Teachers and staff dressed up and read to students. Then, the students got to guess who read to them.
We ended Read Across America with a Read’n’Feed in 4th-6th grades. What’s better than a good book and yummy snacks?! It was also a great way for students to earn some more AR points before the end of the quarter next Friday.

We would like to thank the Community Foundation of the Ozarks for the $50,000 Clinton and Nancy Schilling tech ed grant that we received. This grant will go a long way in helping us reach our goal of building a new greenhouse for our AG ED department. We are currently working on additional grants to help us finalize this greenhouse project as well as add a new plasma cutting table to our Ag Shop. Thank you Community Foundation of the Ozarks!

Valentine’s Day was a great day in second grade. We began the day with the cute read aloud “Love Monster”. Students then wrote to the prompt “How I can be kind?”, then they created their very own Love Monster. They finished out their day by showcasing their Valentine’s boxes, sharing cards, and a party hosted by our wonderful PTO and parents.
