Our LT Student Council needs your input!
As we continue to brainstorm engaging activities for our community, we're considering the possibility of organizing a talent show. However, we want to gauge the interest and enthusiasm of our students before moving forward with the planning.
A talent show can be a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the diverse talents within our community and create an enjoyable and supportive atmosphere for everyone involved. Whether you have a hidden talent or love cheering on your fellow community members, your input is wanted in shaping this event.
Could you please take a moment to let us know if your child would be interested in participating in or attending a community talent show? Your response will help us determine the level of enthusiasm and support for this event- ensuring that we create an experience that resonates with the majority.
If this is something that your child would be interested in participating in, please email Mr. Bruce at kbruce@tigersk12.org by Friday, March 15 at the end of the school day.

During Read Across America Week, our A + tutors read their favorite childhood book to our elementary students!

Any sophomore or junior students still interested in applying for a program at the VoTech for next year can still get their applications turned in until Wednesday this week! Get with Mrs. Eggerman or Mr. Scott if you have questions.

Don't forget we are inviting the community businesses in Lockwood to read their favorite children's books on March 7th and share about their business. If you would like to participate, email Rebecca Cossins at rcossins@tigersk12.org for a time and class to read to.

Get your orders in for spring sports gear! Forms are due March 15!

The FORCE is strong in 6th grade! We wrapped up our unit about force and simple machines by creating our own versions of Rube Goldberg contraptions. Our Pre-K friends came to watch our attempts and we taught them about gravity, friction, and perseverance. We definitely learned that sometimes you have to fail (and fail…and fail x20) before you can succeed!

Kindergarten Screening will be held on Friday, April 12th. Please call Heather (417-232-4528) and set up an appointment. You will need to bring the following documents:
1. Copy of up to date shot records
2. Proof of residency within the Lockwood School District
