8th grade parents: Due to the forecast for strong storms tomorrow, May 19, the 8th grade field trip to Jefferson City has been cancelled. The plan is to schedule a make-up trip to the Capitol for early next school year.
Class 1 Sectional Track Meet is Today @ Carl Junction
The cost for admission is $6.00. It will be cash only. Children 6 and under are free. There is also no senior discount.
The 4th, 5th, and 6th graders participated in cleaning and refreshing the South Park today in memory of Tucker Berry. They got to paint, spread mulch, and clean up. We would like to say thank you to Lockwood LBT for bringing the kids snacks and drinks, and the Lockwood Hardware Store for letting us borrow rakes! We’d also like to thank Leslie Friar with the Park Board and Isaac Dodd with the City of Lockwood for supplying everything and working to get everything set up for today. Lastly, a special thanks to Sam and Tonya Berry for coming and working with us.

FBLA & FFA members had their end of the year reward trip on Monday. They visited The Garden Exchange in Aurora & Springfield Underground. Then spent the afternoon at Andy B’s.

Urban Air AR Field Trip- Pt2
Students wrapped up their 4th quarter Accelerate Reading program with a field trip to Urban Air.
Thank you to Quantum Athletics for allowing us to use their gym for our third quarter AR Field Trip. The kids had a blast and we appreciate the support.
