Adults - $5
School-aged children and younger are free
Ages 60 years and older are free
Children in the 5th grade and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
While learning about the Sun, Earth, and Moon relationships, 6th graders created a model of the rotations and revolutions among the three space objects. Some of them learned the hard way that they don’t need to orbit and spin quite so quickly. #dizzyingdemonstrations
How great is it to have such a supportive local Farmers’ Market?! Our 4th grade class had a wonderful trip shopping through all the goodies. We even had a few FFA students show up to share their products! Thanks to all the vendors for your kindness and patience!

We will host the HS Volleyball Jamboree tomorrow night!
5:30 - Lockwood vs Sarcoxie
2nd Game - Sarcoxie vs Stockton
3rd Game - Lockwood vs Stockton
Each matchup will play 3 sets to 21.
No gate fee. There will be a concession stand. The jamboree will be streamed on Hudl Fan.
We kicked off the new Accelerated Reader (AR) Program at the elementary school last week! The 5th & 6th graders read books with the 2nd & 3rd graders. Then they helped them figure out how to use the program for the first time. What great teamwork! Our Reading Roadtrip is off to a great start!!

The elementary had their Reading Road Trip Pep Rally today. We talked about the rewards and incentives for meeting their reading point goals and why reading is important. We also had our top readers from last year help get us hyped up. We may have had a dance party too. I'm not sure if the teachers or students are more excited about this new reading program!
The Miles for Smiles Unit will be at Lockwood Schools from August 27-30. We have forms at the school that can be filled out or you can fill out the form online by following the directions below.
