The Lockwood R1 School district is going to partner with Stockton Schools again this summer to offer a summer school option for anyone who is interested. These forms have been sent home with students already. Please return this form by Friday, April 27 so we have an idea on numbers!
Our FFA Farm Management team placed 5th in the state yesterday! They have worked very hard this year and we are very proud of them! Congratulations Owen, Katie, and Clayton!

- JH & HS Softball will now play at Ash Grove. JH will start at 5 with HS to follow. The bus will leave at 3:30.

Congratulations to senior, Clayton Robertson, who will be attending Drury University in the fall! Clayton will be majoring in Political Science and History. He would like to complete his education to become a lawyer. He will also be running track for Drury!
Second graders completed a PBL on inventors last week. They did such a great job that we had a couple of students present their inventors at our school board meeting. Edmond Benson and Konner McGuire did great. If you see a 2nd grader, ask them about their inventor. We promise you will learn something new!

HS Softball Update for 4/19
HS Softball was scheduled to play at Diamond at 4:00 and then go to Sarcoxie after. Now, to help umpires, we will play both games at Sarcoxie. First vs Diamond at 3:30 and then vs Sarcoxie at 6:30.
JH Softball Update
JH softball for tomorrow is cancelled due to umpire availability. We will move that game to Wednesday. So now the plan is to play a doubleheader on Wednesday here at Lockwood. Lockwood vs Sarcoxie at 4:30 and Lockwood vs Diamond at 6:00.

Our 9 state qualifiers attended the FBLA State Leadership Conference this week! Owen Neely came home with a medal in Agribusiness, placing 5th!
